Theft alarm sound is delayed or not emitted

Symptoms: the theft alarm sound is not immediately emitted when power cord or flash drive is unplugged.

Cause:  Windows is not fully booted. Although the Windows desktop is visible, the Windows is still busy loading programs behind the scene.

Solution: Allow Windows to fully boot up. Or wait until the LAlarm icon appears in the notification area, which is located at the bottom right side of the screen.
Besides, it is also helpful to wait for 2 or 3 seconds before unplugging the power cord or flash drive after locking (Win+L).
Note: If you’re using LAlarm version 4 or older versions, the LAlarm icon won’t appear- we recommend that you upgrade to a newer version.
